Introduction to the NATURE project
NATURE is an Erasmus+ project that puts children’s direct experience (ages 3–8) in nature and educators’ mindful use of digital tools at the centre.
The aim is not to «give lessons» outdoors, but to create repeated opportunities for exploration, play and listening in natural settings (park, forest, beach, meadow). Digital tools support this: to prepare the outing, document it, and follow up in the classroom with sounds and images.
This handbook guides you step by step: how to use the WebApp, how to organise a safe outing, how to integrate tablets or smartphones without them replacing the experience. The content (activities, sounds, gallery) is designed to be used by you before and during the activity, and shared with children in a guided way.
