How to use the WebApp, organise outings and integrate digital tools into outdoor experience.

How to organise an outing

Before the outing: choose an activity from the WebApp that fits the age of your group and the place you will visit. Check materials and timing (duration is given in minutes). Confirm permissions, weather and number of accompanying adults according to your school’s rules. Brief the children in a short circle time: where we are going, what we will do, which rules (stay with the group, don’t touch unknown plants without asking, etc.).

During the outing: prioritise direct experience. If you use a tablet or smartphone, use it to record sounds, take photos or quickly check the activity sheet; avoid children spending time looking at the screen. Alternate free exploration with guided moments (silent listening, circle sharing).

After the outing: back in the classroom you can listen again to recorded sounds, look at photos in the Gallery and link your notes to an activity or an image from the reserved area. This keeps the memory of the experience alive and reusable.
