How to use the WebApp, organise outings and integrate digital tools into outdoor experience.

Integrating digital tools into the experience

Digital tools in NATURE do not replace nature: they support it. Here is how to use them in a meaningful way.

Preparation: use the WebApp on a PC or tablet to read the activity sheets and the handbook. You can print the sheet to take with you or check it on the device during the outing, without constantly showing it to the children.

Outdoors: recording short audio clips (wind, leaves, birdsong) helps you to revisit them in the classroom and for children to recognise sounds. Photos document meaningful moments and build the shared Gallery. Avoid long videos or sessions where children queue to «look at the screen»: the goal is to live the real context.

In the classroom: the WebApp sounds and Gallery images are great for recalling the experience, stimulating language («What is this sound?», «What were we doing here?») and linking several outings over time. Digital becomes memory and resonance of the experience, not entertainment.
